The Global and Local Health Healthcare Payment model developed by CHS Life
The Global and Local Health Healthcare Payment model developed by CHS Life and evaluated by the Massachusetts Special Commission on Health Care Payment Systems, is one of the most cost effective health care delivery systems in the world.
Local Membership:
An example of the Global payment model specifically designed for the State of Connecticut can be found to your left under Government Example. This model is so cost effective that the total cost of providing care to Connecticut residents would be $100 a month for an individual and $200 a month for a family.
The Massachusetts Special Commission on the Health Care Payment Systems concluded that the Global payment model should become the predominant health care payment model for Massachusetts. The commissions’ entire report can be found online at
CHS Life did not only create the Global model and automate the entire health care system but we took it a step further and included a Local model. The Local model can be used by health care providers and hospitals to develop wellness programs.

The CHS Life “Local Membership Plan”, allow you to purchase a membership to a specific provider or group of providers. Our local health plans are designed by our participating provider offices. These plans offer significant savings to those patients requiring treatment for chronic conditions and preventative care.
